The journey starts at 8:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass and passing Berber villages along the way. Stop at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided visit. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit Atlas Film Studios or explore the Taourirt Kasbah. After lunch, drive through the Draa Valley, famous for its lush palm groves, before arriving in Zagora. In the late afternoon, take a sunset camel trek into the desert. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner at your camp, followed by live music and a night under the stars.
Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at the camp. Ride your camel back to Zagora village, where your driver will be waiting. Begin the return journey through the Draa Valley, stopping for scenic photos along the way. Pass through Ouarzazate, with an optional visit to the Kasbah Taourirt or a quick break for lunch. Cross the High Atlas Mountains before arriving back in Marrakech in the early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad.
